As a coach and keynote speaker, I travel a lot for a living. When I got tired of dragging my attache case around, I looked for a rolling one. I went to the store and tried several, and bought this one.
I’ve had it for several months now, and I absolutely love it! It’s well-made, has convient slots for folders, laptops, business cards as well as pens and pencils. The handle extends and retracts flawlessly … for the constant getting in and out of cars, taxis, planes, etc.
The only drawback that I’ve found is that I wish it came with a carry strap for those rare times when I have to pick it up and carry it. (Say, for example, when Northeast Ohio gets 2 feet of snow over Easter! This thing is good, but no rolling case is going to plow thru two feet of snow).
Overall, I would buy another one in a heart beat. (In fact, I’m thinking of getting my wife one for her birthday….shhh! don’t tell her!
.
Probably the most user-friendly item I’ve purchase in several years. Highly recommended.

I just love these Samsonite Spinner style bags. I have a suitcase like this as well and I’ve become quite spoiled. This bag has a number of great features:
* It opens from the top, but doesn’t flop all the way open, which means that when you open it, it sort of looks like an aligator mouth opened straight upward. You can access your papers or folders and slide your laptop in and out without having to lay the bag down as you would with most I’ve had in the past. This is especially nice when the surface isn’t one you’d want to lay your bag on, such as the ground.
* The handle has multiple locking points, so you can adjust how long it is and lock it in. The locking handle also means that as you push it, you can rest the weight of your arm on it and it doesn’t just telescope back down into the bag.
* It fits (snugly) under the seat in an airplane. The exception is those planes which have one seat in the row that has an unfairly narrow under-seat space. I’ve often found, however, that the person next to me is willing to swap under-seat space with me if their bag is smaller or if it’s squishy and can be made to fit in a narrower space.
* The extra pockets are quite well thought out and useful, with lots of smaller pockets and dividers to keep the inside from becoming a jumbled mess. The central compartment is also surprisingly roomy. I’ve been impressed with what I can fit in there.
* The laptop slot itself is big enough for my 17″ MacBook Pro (it was a tight fit for about a week until the fabric stretched just enough; now it’s easy) and it’s very easy to access (It’s just a big padded pocket with a velcro strap over the top) which makes it very fast when going through security at the airport.
* And of course, the spinner wheels. You don’t fully realize how much of the weight of a rolling bag is on your arm/shoulder until you’ve wheeled around one of these Spinner bags. It’s almost effortless, unless you’re going uphill or on thick carpet–but in those cases you just tip it and drag it like any other wheeled bag. It’s also very easy to change hands while walking without slowing down, or to switch which way the bag is facing, or move it around things, or swap from rolling it in front of you to behind, or from the left to the right… it’s just amazingly convenient. I also can lay other things on top of the bag and use it almost like a luggage cart. I often loop one of the straps of my purse over the handle and set my purse on the bag, then set my jacket on my purse, then loop the other strap of my purse over the handle. The purse then holds my jacket from falling off and I don’t have to carry anything.
The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is actually perhaps unfair, as I’m not sure it’s a design flaw so much as a flaw in my usage: when I open the bag, it is well balanced and stays upright, even if I have the handle extended fully …unless my laptop is in it. If my laptop is in its slot, the bag becomes front-heavy and will tip over unless I put my leg in front of it or lean it against a chair or something.
Overall I recommend this bag highly, as well as the rest of the Spinner luggage from Samsonite.

I love this product. I travel every week and have tried many types of Computer bags, with and without wheels. Getting on and off planes, going through airports,in and out of cars, etc…I never could find the right type of bag. This one helps me remain organized, it’s light, for a wheeled computer bag, and I can put things on top of it while a wheel it along my side. I love the spinner wheels because I don’t have to drag it behind me. The size is perfect because it will fit below the airplane seat or in the overhead bins–my other ones won’t. It’s just large enough to hold all I need-not too big to tempt me to overstuff. I love the easy access to my laptop–it speeds up the security process.
I received the product on time.

This bag is perfect for a professor, especially one who (like me) frequently has to walk long distances to reach her workplace! The 4 wheels work beautifully and the bag can be pulled, pushed, or it can go along beside you sideways. It moves in any direction in any way! It has a small compartment in front for cards, pens, pencils, etc., another zippered compartment where I keep my record book and general things, and a large zippered compartment with five divisions that really permits me to organize materials so that I can find them for a change! It holds much more than any other bag I’ve tried, the zippers work well, and the telescoping handle goes all the way down readily.
